300dpi is a great standard for storage that gives you a huge amount of leeway for resizing and editing, but I feel it’s important to bring up that most commercially available printers print at a density of about 121dpi.
In the end you should test print with different settings and file types as much as possible whenever you run digital prints just to see what’s best for that print
